Spectacular Hummus

So I have been on this kick of eating hummus everyday with carrots….It is simple to make and I thought I would share the recipe!….(this may not be the typical hummus).

2 cans of chickpeas (garbonzo beans)
1 bunch of cilantro (mmm mmm!)
2 cloves of garlic (or more!!)
3 Tbs. of olive oil
1 mild red chile pepper
1 lime (juice)
salt and pepper to taste

If you are poor like me and can’t afford an expensive food processor..then I would recommend using a blender. I like to drain most of the juice out of the chick peas..though I save some because it is hard to blend without some added water. Once you ruffly chop everything, throw it into the blender and blend!!!

I like to store mine in a plastic container for my daily usage…Make sure you hide it from lurking visitors! : D
